We were expecting a wet day, so decided on a low-level walk involving wooded areas. The river was quite swollen. We saw an amazing array of mosses. We also stopped to have a look inside Tŷ Mawr Wybrnant, the National Trust-managed stone house which was the birthplace of Bishop William Morgan, the first translator of the Bible into Welsh.
